Staff Training

Over 90% of all breaches can be attributed to humanity.

Preparation is your best defense.

Social engineering is the psychological manipulation of an unsuspecting human in order to gain sensitive information. While it is possible to do this in person, it almost always occurs remotely through email, text, phone calls or even online advertisements. Chances are, you have already experienced one or all of these at some point. Social engineering is the absolute most reliable way to successfully gain access to private information, but there are multitudes of other ways an attacker might try to exploit you. Perhaps they are monitoring your keystrokes, accessing your camera or microphone, or even watching your desktop in a live setting. There are software programs to help identify these attacks, but by far the most effective defense is knowledge. Your staff is the gateway to your confidential data, so it would be wise to educate them regarding these attacks, how to spot them and what to do when they occur. Most importantly, teach them how they can help keep them from happening at all.

The internet can be a scary place.

But, it doesn't have to be.
